The Mail Operator at Action Printing will have the production skills necessary to efficiently operate Ink Jet system, insert control operating
system, as well as set up and run offline mailing. They will also have working knowledge of POET. They will act at all times to assure the highest level of
professionalism and personal performance possible, will work enthusiastically to meet or exceed all performance goals set by GPS St. George.
The Operator is responsible for quickly, efficiently and accurately setting up and running the above mentioned equipment as planned on the daily production schedule in a manner
consistent with the Employee Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Manual, Work Methods and other applicable documents.
Set-up, operate, Ink Jet System
Work with K&M insert control operating system
Set up and run 1372 inserter
Help in our Fulfillment area when needed.
Attend and participate in departmental meetings
Accurately document all production activities and complete required paperwork
Work in a safe manner and insure the safety of crew members
Keep the general work area clean and organized
Actively participate in
company training program
Possess good leadership skills and lead by example
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally and 40 pounds consistently
Must interpret verbal and written instructions
Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions
Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to:
with scheduling & management to facilitate the daily schedule
Read and understand the job ticket and work order
Understand customer quality requirements
Understand and use proofs in checking binding attributes
Demonstrate consistency in the observation of safety procedures
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of the data collection system and display consistency and accuracy in meeting data collection requirements specified in the quality documentation and by management.
Demonstrate willingness to accept direction from supervisors, management and peers to improve quality and performance.
Demonstration willingness to work together with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance.
Demonstrate good mechanical ability
Possess good computer skills working with Excel and Outlook
Good record of safety and safety knowledge
Prefer 2 years in Packaging
The ability to write and speak in English
