The Print Production Manager will develop the production and distribution of all customer facing collateral and in store graphics including direct mail, coupons, large-format window banners, price-point signage and other signage. The Production Manager will offer creative and cost-effective solutions to ensure that all materials are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality possible.
Manage print production projects from initial concept to final delivery
Partner with the creative team as the print category expert with the ability to advise on best formats to utilize and to ballpark pricing to ensure projects stay within budget
Supervise status of all assigned projects to ensure accurate timelines, specs, and pre-press needs
Supervise suppliers on pricing, formats, postage costs and job releases, as well as drive continuous improvement to reduce costs
Coordinate fulfillment of marking materials to stores through distribution center delivery
Manage multiple calendars and spreadsheets to ensure all projects meet deadlines and cross functional partners are updated on any changes as necessary
Update job status in project management system for all jobs and assist updating master sign book by assigning part numbers
Assist supervisor and finance partners with monthly, quarterly and yearly budgeting process including estimating, forecasting and reconciling invoice discrepancies
Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in CRM, Store Communications, Visual Merchandising, Merchants, Planners and other job requestors to make sure that all job briefs are clear, concise and achievable and clearly understood by the creative team
Investigate new packaging techniques, materials, processes and developments to provide innovative, on-brand, and cost-effective packaging concepts and solutions
Partner with creative team to keep retouching vendors on schedule and to ensure quality color with print vendors
Maintain inventory levels of collateral to ensure stores are able to access all necessary marketing
5-8 years experience in print production with a thorough understanding of graphics, manufacturing procedures, bindery techniques and processes
Retail, Fashion or Ad Agency experience preferred
Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and can comfortably manage a high volume of projects that have unique lifecycles and aggressive deadlines
Must possess strong problem solving and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
Experience managing store logistics and complex versioning
Able to communicate and interact with all levels of the organization and build strong relationships cross functionally
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong knowledge of Excel and InDesign
Successful candidate must be a proactive person and have a “can do” attitude
Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Marketing, Creative Communication, or Production.
