Grinding, deburring of parts
Some assembly

WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Brake press or similar experience is required for this position Laser and/or weld experience is a plus Print reading skills Excellent communication skills - listening, speaking and writing Ability to work quickly and process information into the Hughes System Mechanical ability required Proficiency in use of gauges and measuring skills, including use of calipers and angle gauges, required Experience completing and maintaining paperwork Experience operating cranes, chains and hoist systems Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. ABOUT THE POSITION
Team Members that work as a Brake Press Operator for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Company will perform defined tasks needed to be successful in the position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, operate the brake press to manufacture parts needed for production. This involves working on a considerable number of parts where alignment, dimensions and quality must meet acceptable quality standards following laser operation procedures and customer specifications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+80% of time operating the brake press and other forming operations such as rolling and shearing
20% of time moving material, operating crane and forklift, and other duties related to the position
Train to back up the laser operator when needed
Follow all safety rules and regulations
Measure and identify parts for accuracy
Follow shop routing instructions
