The position requires the Associate to set up, run, troubleshoot, interpret and follow work instructions. They will have a complete understanding of the operation and safety requirements for all rotary converting presses within the Value Stream. This Flexo Press Operator II position is expected to have full knowledge of product quality, processes and procedures. This Flexo Press Operator II position is expected to work with engineering and customers on and off press to develop new products and make quality and efficiency improvements to existing products. Associate must be able to meet production schedules and strive to achieve or improve cost estimates. nResponsibilities/Duties include but are not limited to:nSet up, run and troubleshoot product based on established job rates. Track rates and escalate to management and engineering per prescribed procedures if product is not meeting cost and efficiency requirements. nPerform quality inspections per Quality Department procedures and Engineering work instructions and document results. nResponsible for accurate entries in the computer time clock system. nResponsible for accurate documentation of inspection, equipment maintenance and work instruction changes. nPerform preventative maintenance on equipment per Engineering procedures and ensure charts or logs are up to date.nPositively contribute to company's safety, quality and production goals. nResponsible for reporting to Management any unsafe working conditions.nAble to understand and accurately interpret prints.nUnderstand and adhere to company policies and procedures.nAccountabilities:nAccountable for meeting or exceeding safety goals.nAccountable for meeting or exceeding attendance goals.nAccountable for meeting or exceeding product and service quality goals. nAccountable for meeting or exceeding on-time delivery to promise date goals. nAccountable for meeting or exceeding lean process improvement goals. nAccountable to achieve goal for profit contribution dollars.nAccountable for meeting or exceeding learning and development goals. nAccountable for accuracy of all electronic and hard copy documentation per Quality Department procedures and no finding in document audits. nTraining/Education/Experience:nHigh School education or equivalent.nSome post High School education preferred in related field.nPrevious manufacturing experience required; medical manufacturing experience preferred.nAble to interpret and understand prints.n3-7 years Rotary Press experience nProblem solving / troubleshoot with ability moderate press issuesnBasic understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts a plus.nProficient PC skills, Microsoft office toolsnCompetencies/Talents/Personal Attributes:nGood communication skills, written and verbal.nPositive attitude and a team player.nGood troubleshooting skills.nExhibits a professional demeanor at all times.nCan speak, understand and write English.nOrganization skills nExtreme attention to detail with all paperworknEOE Minorities/Females/Vet/Disability Innovize is a drug and alcohol ****.
